Most shops treat dashcam installs like an afterthought. You drop off your car, wait two hours in a lobby with bad coffee, and pick it up with wires half-tucked behind your trim — or worse, running visibly across the dashboard.

We built Wizard Installs around a different premise: the install should come to you, happen in front of you, and leave no trace except the camera itself. Every wire is routed through the headliner, down the A-pillar, and into the fuse box. No tape. No loose cables. No zip ties. No drilling.

And when we leave, your dashcam is mounted, hardwired, formatted, and tested — not handed back in a box with a YouTube link. We walk you through the app, confirm the footage is recording, and you're covered from the moment we drive away.

Mobile installation also means no middleman markup. We source cameras directly, keep overhead low, and pass the savings on. The result is a cleaner install at a better price than most shops can offer.

Every wire hidden

Cables go through the headliner, down the A-pillar trim, and under dash panels — never across the windshield or taped to the dash.

No drilling. Ever.

We route through existing pathways in every vehicle. No holes drilled, no permanent modifications — your car leaves exactly as it arrived.

Hardwired to the fuse box

We connect to a switched fuse, not a cigarette lighter. This powers parking mode and keeps the install clean with a proper voltage cutoff.

SD formatted and tested

Before we leave, the SD card is formatted, a test loop is recorded, and playback is confirmed. You don't have to figure it out yourself.

Full app walkthrough

We show you how to pull footage, adjust settings, and use cloud features if your camera supports them — before we pack up.

The founder

Started by someone who cares.

I, Waqas, started Wizard Installs in 2024 after someone hit my car on the highway and tried to leave. I was angry, stressed about insurance, and the worst part? I already had a dashcam… but it was sitting unopened on my desk. That hit-and-run? It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it sparked this entire business.

The fix wasn't a better shop. It was cutting the shop out entirely. Mobile service meant he could control every part of the install: the routing, the time, the walkthrough, the cleanup. No shop supervisor rushing him. No apprentice finishing the job.

That standard hasn't changed. Every car that leaves Wizard Installs gets the same attention — Porsche or pickup truck, Brooklyn or Basking Ridge.
